Waterloo - People and Places
Location: The Waterloo Gallery, Baylis Road, London SE1
Date: January/February 2000

During 1999 major developments were taking place all over London. The Waterloo area was experiencing dramatic changes and over a short period of time the character of the area would be altered forever.

The exhibition contained images of those who live and work in the area, and those passing through. It recorded the new developments of the Imax, the London Eye, and the Waterloo International Station, alongside the old familiars of the South Bank centre.

Waterloo - People and Places was supported by a grant from the Lottery Awards for All. It was a joint exhibition showcasing the work of five photographers and captured the spirit and landscape of Waterloo at the turn of the millennium.
